Intercell.083 - THELMA
THELMA has become a hard-to-ignore name within the techno scene over the last few years. One of her very first releases ‘TRACK ID’ racked up over a million streams in the early days of her production journey. This was soon followed by a multitude of Belfast shows, debuts across Europe and two tours in Australia, where most of her audience resides. With support from techno heavyweights VTSS, Skin On Skin, KETTAMA and Partiboi69 to name a few, THELMA earned herself a spot playing at England’s biggest festival: Creamfields. Shortly after, she made her Terminal V Festival debut along with a release for their label. The biggest turning point to date was marked by her debut EP with Steel City Dance Discs. The melting together of old school techno and Detroit electro influences earned her acclaim for her eclecticism. This defining release has propelled the artist as she now finds herself on the radar of many, granting her a key spot within the scene. There is no stopping with THELMA, with more exciting releases and another tour on the horizon for the end of 2024.
