Intercell.059 - Laure Croft [vinyl set]
Filling February with fire. Coming in hot with a full vinyl set is the Berlin-based, Dutch-born: Laure Croft (@laurecroft). See her play a fresh b2b with Lacchesi (@lorenzolacchesi) at Intercell Indoor 2023 in Amsterdam on 24.02 next week. Info & tickets at www.intercell.events/events This vinyl-only mix by Laure will bring you in the mood to party or spice up your afterparty. It’s a mix of primarily old-school techno and some newer releases. As we know her sound to be fast, trippy and sexy, she definitely did not fail to deliver that sound in this set too. Living by the mantra ‘keep it sexy’. Her intention when she takes to the decks is to initiate the liberation that comes from the most powerful dance floor experiences when clothes come off and the energy reaches a fever pitch. Her sound is a constant rush of high-intensity techno spanning the mid-90s to the mid-00s, mixed with the tactile, precarious thrill of vinyl. Continually digging for the tracks which fit her particular creative vision, she holds true to techno’s inherent futurism by creating something new and ever-evolving from the music she plays–pulling together the pieces of the puzzle from decades of techno culture carved into a near-infinite pool of uptempo, forward-facing machine music. Enjoy the listen.

Intercell.058 - Parfait [groove mix]
The new year only just started, and we're firing things up wild. The French, Paris-based dj: Parfait (@parfaitparfait) is coming in with a thriving mix and a more groovy approach. Over the years, she has made a name for herself and become one of the leading figures on the international techno scene. Whilst distilling a rhythmic, dancing and energetic sound set after set, she puts the pleasure of the people in the audience in the centre and never forgets to listen and watch them. Trigger those ears of yours.

Intercell.057 - Genetica
Hitting it hard again. Next up in our series is a hard-lined mix by the unyielding Ukrainian born and based: Genetica (@genetica_eto) Smashing her way across sound systems with both relentless rage and dizzying pyrotechnics, Ukrainian-born and based jockey Genetica knows no rest when it comes to submerging dance floors under avalanches of lava-hot uptempo grooves and hydraulic kicks from hell. Geared for big-room rumble and foundation-shaking traction, she makes a point of steering crowds into altered states of consciousness through each and every of her sets, always carrying that sixth sense for what makes today’s ravers quiver in ecstasy. Shockwaves inbound.

Intercell.056 - INDECORUM
Producer of tracks such as Falkor's Return, Fire In My Body, Babushka, Feel The Heat Remix and co-founder of the iconic series of raves Ekwador 2000. His Boiler Room debut at Teletech Festival in the UK in the Summer brought the madness straight from Poland. The legend of the Polish rave scene, whose music greatly impacted how Polish rave culture looks now. His sets are a fast and unpredictable mix of hard techno, early hardstyle and hard trance. Moreover, he's a fulfilled husband and a daddy of two. So, hold tight cause we're about to shock.

Intercell.055 - Lossch
A November mix by the Amsterdam-based acclaimed dj/producer Lossch (@lossch). You might remember this name for his opening set at our Acid Night edition at BASIS earlier this year. Now he's back once again for an Intercell podcast. Lossch fell in love with techno when his brother started to give illegal raves in Amsterdam at the age of 15/16. Around this time, Lossch also started to visit lots of other techno-orientated events. Lossch found out he wanted to start DJ'ing, but he didn't want to DJ if he couldn't play his own tracks, so Lossch started producing. At the beginning of his musical development in producing & DJ’ing, Lossch listened to tracks by producers/DJs like Perc, Dax J, Adam X, Minimum Syndicat & Ansome. Lossch always liked obscure/harsh sounds, he can identify his own production as industrial but still melodic. At a point, lots of DJs started to mix industrial sounds with Trance, which he liked. Lossch is always looking for a little dreaminess when he searches for tracks. With all these influences, he started to develop his own sound. He loves the variations in the techno genre. Lots of different styles but still cohesive is what Lossch tried to aim for in this mix. The live-sets by Crystal Geometry inspire him a lot. At the moment, Lossch is also working on a live set which will be ready coming year. Enjoy listening.
