A razor sharp & dynamic late August mix by the Amsterdam based acclaimed dj/producer: @amekmar From a young age on, the Dutch and formerly Belgium-based AMEKMAR has been passionate about music and all it has to offer. Ever since getting her first cassette tapes, followed by a Discman and CDs, music was played all day, every day. AMEKMAR has a wide interest in music from artists of various genres, such as Duke Ellington, Nirvana and Cherry Moon Trax – to name a few. Their music has provided her with far-reaching insights into what music means to her and what it can mean to others. Once she felt the joy and excitement of standing behind the turntables and sharing the endlessly sought music with others, the microbe of deejaying settled deeply into her body. During her deejay sets, AMEKMAR knows how to keep the crowd moving by serving uncompromising, dark, energetic and yet somewhat mysterious techno, always including a decent and refreshing selection of records. Currently, both the pursuit of an academic degree as well as creating and playing music are what is keeping her busy. AMEKMAR can be described as an ‘all-or-nothing’ individual who goes after what she seeks by working her head off for it. Her goals remain dependable and straightforward: learning and getting better each day and developing as a person and artist by seeking to push her own boundaries. Her musical talent and growth haven’t been left unnoticed. Her development is paying off and has already taken her to venues in The Netherlands, Belgium and France, such as BASIS, Club Vaag and Racanze – but also festivals like Dour, Extrema Outdoor, Tomorrowland and Verknipt. Besides performing, she has also been making steps production-wise. With releases on Coincidence Records, Everyone on Acid and Tabulat, as well as in the process of creating her first EP, she can be noticed as fast-growing. Better get dancing.

We just couldn't get enough of this exceptional and amazingly sweet-scented dj/producer from Germany. It's summer, it's hot; It's Narciss (@itsnarciss). Narciss is quite a phenomenon when it comes to musical unpredictability. Despite being a child of the 90s, they live and breathe musical knowledge. Soaking up everything that catches them, whether it’s rhythmic elements, melody or even just moods within a song. The underlying key element of everything they touch is groove and swing, as Narciss has proved time and time again: They understand what makes people move physically and emotionally. Maybe it's time to share some of his outdoor performance soon. Enjoy this flourishing mix for now.

April's podcast has arrived – a true gift for those who remember "Intercell - The Void" on 03/05 in 2019. We present an EBM/TBM infused mix by the Venezuelan-born, Barcelona based DJ & producer: Cardopusher (@cardopusher). Co-founder of the Classicworks record label, inspired at first by labels like Warp, Schematic, Skam, Rephlex and the diverse experimental scene surrounding them in the early 2000s, he decided to start his own productions. Since then, he has been involved in different genres in the electronic music spectrum, most recently focusing on developing his own vision in EBM/wave, techno, acid, electro and rave territories. Keeping a very active release schedule in recent years on labels like Dark Entries, Mechatronica, BNR, ZONE, I Love Acid, Super Rhythm Trax, and his own Classicworks, Cardopusher has been gaining attention from established musicians around the world. From clattering drum traxx to lo-fi acid soundscaping and slasher movie keys. Enjoy the listen.

We have relaunched. Coming through with an immaculate podcast to usher in March. We're back with one of the most promising talents rising from a new generation of Berlin-bred artists: Luca Eck (@iamlucaeck). Being classically trained since his early childhood, he started writing and producing electronic pop music at the age of 11, later transitioning into techno in 2017. He now aims to create a blend between the emotional appeal of popular music and the dark sounds of industrial techno, that already brought him behind the decks of Berlin's renowned Griessmuehle (now @revier_suedost), various international venues, live on ARTE Concert's (@arte-radio-1) United We Stream (@unitedwestream) programme, Rinse France (@rinse_france) and infamous Digital Club HÖR (@hoerberlin). His music quickly gained recognition from established artists such as Amelie Lens (@amelielens) - who featured him in her highly acclaimed "Track ID" Playlist on Spotify. After a series of single releases, including his track "Walking The Edge" (currently sitting at over 400.000 Streams on Spotify), Luca Eck is entering 2022 on a wave of momentum that doesn't look set to fall away anytime soon. Luca will soon release his Debut EP in collaboration with Berghain (@berghain) regular Nur Jaber (@nurjaberbeirut). Apart from that, he has also produced EPs for rap and pop artists like Tightill and benzii (Sony Music, Kontor New Media, Motor Entertainment).
